Basmati Lemon Rice
1 cup of Basmati rice
1 cup of chicken broth 1 cup of white wine 6 cups of water 1/4 slice of lemon, paper thin |
Soak the rice in water for 15 minutes. Bring chicken broth, white wine and 6 cups of water to a boil. Drain the rice and add to boiling liquid. Do not cover the pot. Cook for 10 minutes at a medium boil. Add lemon and cook for two more minutes. Drain rice, discard lemon and serve.
