The BEST Chocolate Sauce
3/4 cup of sugar
2 Tbsp of Dark Chocolate cocoa powder 1/8 tsp salt evaporated milk 2 tbsp unsalted butter 1 square of semi-sweet baker's chocolate A splash, maybe 1/4 tsp of vanilla |
In a heavy saucepan add the sugar, salt and cocoa. Whisk together until blended. Add the milk slowly until it is at the desired consistency. It doesn't take much at all. I specifically didn't put an amount on the milk because you may like your sauce thicker or thinner than I do. I generally put about 2 tbsp. Stir this together, constantly, on a high heat. Add the butter and the square of chocolate. Continue stirring. Bring to a boil and stir while it boils for about a minute. Add a splash of vanilla and TA-DA! The BEST chocolate sauce ever!
